This could indicate another unannounced program running in the
background, like spyware or virus. It could also suggest a damaged spot
on the drive. If it was here, I would run a passive scan on it to find
out. That's where the hard drive is removed and slaved to another
system, which then does all the scanning. It prevents anything on the
original drive fro interfering with maintainance or pest removal.
