Thank you for your input but George addressed that issue. I have no precise
information on the editor's PC or software except that is its Windows XP and
Microsoft Word. Which version of Word is not clear to me either. But
obviously she must be using MS Word 2000.

Clearly there is some distinction between standard html and filtered
(have not seen that in Word). So I have to wonder what sort of
filtration it does?
