[pchelpers] Recovery of IBM /Toshiba laptops

I recently came into possession of several older laptops. Two are 600M
IBM Thinkpads. The difficulty is that the makers put the BIOS on the
hard drive, so by this time it is not too usable. Part of the problem
has been solved already. I bought a couple of CDs (Ultimate Boot CD For
Windows, and IBM drivers CD). They have potential for a fix to this, but
a way needs to be found to transfer the BIOS and boot files to their
places on the laptop drive. It is presumed that specific positioning of
files will be needed to get the system running again.

Feel like putting your thinking caps on?
