INGE ----
What brand of digital recorder do you have ? I have an
iRiver, which will record voice off a built in 'mike', or it will record "in
line" ... from any source (your P.A. system - I would imagine - or any other
'in line' source, portable radio, stereo, off the speakers of your comuter,
etc.) If you have the "inline" capability you should be able to plug the
P.A. line into the "input" connection of your unit, and then plug your
headphones into the "output" side, and catch the signal, while at the same time
your
listening to the program.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
