Can anyone help me with this problem?
When I run ScanDisk with "Standard" ticked off it runs for a short time and
then leaves a message that either says :
"There were no errors found" Or ScanDisk found errors and fixed them all.
BUT, When I tick off 'Thorough" It runs for a long time. My problem is, that
after about 2 hours I get a message that says "ScanDisk has restarted 10 times
because Windows or another program has been writing to this drive. Quiting some
running programs may enable ScanDisk to finnish sooner. Do you want to continue
recieving this message? YES NO
The thing is I have NO other programs running. So I don't know what it is
talking about! Is it possible for programs to be running in the background
that I am not aware of. If it is then they are programs that I have no
knowledge of. Please, what can I do about this.
Bye the way my operating system is (unfortunately for me) Windows ME

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
