[pchelpers] Re: RTF - safe and polite

Hello Ekhart I have done this with Word 2000 and this is what you have to
do: Go to File then open then in the Box that opens right at the bottom you
will see an entry that says "Files of Type" In that box you will need to go
to the entry that says "Recover Text from any File" and then open any
document.

Hi Tonia

The last words in the text are "our children's lives.", the same that i
get when i open it the normal way.

Even looking for hidden text with Ctrl+F finds nothing.

Could the reason be my Word version, 2000, or am i just missing some
other necessary setting? I even have Tools > Options > View tab >
Non-printing Characters > "Hidden text".

Thanks, Ekhart

'Open' dialog box.. Make sure you have the "File of Type" to open not as
Word doc or any other format, but "Recover Text of any type (*.*)" option
before opening the file.
