I don't think this is an issue of smarts more than it's an issue of
experience; so don't fret! John was on the right path in regards to setting
the Active bit. Do this:
Boot from a floppy, make sure it contains fdisk. Now, when you get the
prompt, type this:
fdisk /mbr
It'll appear as though nothing happened when in fact something has. Reboot
w/out the floppy and that annoying message should be gone!
