[pchelpers] Question for the techies among us

I removed a HD from one computer and put it in another, it and the whole
computer was working just fine. It worked fine in the new computer also.
So, I went to install a new HD in the old computer. I have installed
Win98 three times and using the floppy boot disk to boot, it works fine
each time............ till.......... the last time it reboots, each time
(I then get ready to install the SE upgrade), I get the following message
on the screen:

======================================
EZ-BIOS: Initializing...
EZ-BIOS: Hold the CTRL key down for Stataus Screen or to boot from
floppy...
EZ-BIOS: Continuing Startup...

Type the name of the Command Interpreter (e.g., C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND.COM)
C>_
=======================================

Where I put the underline, in the above text after the C>, is where the
cursor is then left blinking

No matter what I type in the last line keeps coming back an just says:

Type the name of the Command Interpreter (e.g., C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND.COM)
C>_

I've changed the RAM, don't ask me why, 3 times.

I've examined the CMOS many many times looking for some clue.

Any ideas, from the many who are smarter than me, and that don't take
much I know, would be mucho appreciated. I am now holding the thing out
the 2nd floor window, ready to drop it and smash it into.................
well you get the picture.

I await your suggestions OR the command to "Let Her Drop!" (sound
familiar?)

I thank you in advance.
