[pchelpers] Re: Question about boot disk

Okay Scott, how do I do that?

I did shut the computer off, put the disk in and nothing happened. When =
I
pushed the reset button nothing happened. When I turned the computer on =
with
the disk in it started widows normally. That is what happened with both
disks.=20

Really, that does not tell me anything. Tell me please, what am I to do =
and
what is suppose to happen? How do I know when it starts from the disk?

More na=EFve than before,
Inge

Hi Inge,

Here's what I would do: I would put the floppy into the drive and =
restart
the computer, and I would have my answer a few moments later.

I know that's really hard to do... <grin>

It's always best to test a boot floppy or boot CD, while you're still =
able
to make a new one.
