Hi Cy,
Thursday, November 8, 2007, 1:07:56 PM, you wrote:

I would presume so, but I can't recall having tried it. Install it
and see.
My understanding is that the documentation says that Vista Home is not
supported for Virtual PC. This simply means that they will refuse to provide
tech
support for it, not that it doesn't work.

I was going to ask you what was wrong with the driver on the HP site,
then I discovered that the Vista link merely showed a message. Have
you tried drivers for other model scanners? They *might* work.
What specific programs are you having trouble with? Chances are, they
can be made to work with some tinkering, which would minimize how
often you need to use Virtual PC.

I'm still working my way through my mail backlog. :)

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
