Did this start happening when you got the new version of TB?

Do you have any extensions or themes?

Did you install a new extension?

The "x" is not red in the default interface (theme), so it seems you
have some extension or them installed. If you disable all extensions and
themes, you can see if the problem is caused by one of them. It may be
due to a bug in or a compatibility problem with an extension or theme,
or it can be that there is a new default setting in one of these or in
TB and that this default setting reacts differently with the other elements.

This could be related. If you have a buggy extension or theme, it can
cause more than one problem. On the other hand, i don't really
understand your situation because i have more than one inbox, so TB
doesn't open in any of them. Do you have many inboxes or one, so-called
global one?

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
