Not unless you delete a lot of emails every day. I don't bother to
delete any mail at all except for spam that gets past the spam filter.
TB's quick search function is so fast that it takes much less time to
find important mail than it does to spend time every day deciding what
to delete and what not. You can make TB compact automatically in tools <
options < advanced < network & disk space

Don't worry, George, you didn't waste any of my time. It was a
worthwhile learning experience, and it also seems that i solved one
problem and found probable solutions for the other one. If the second
problem goes away by compacting, you'll know that was the cause.

Let me know when you have more time so that i can help you get TB to
uninstall correctly through the normal control panel method. As long as
it doesn't uninstall normally, you can also be sure that it isn't
installed correctly, which can cause all kinds of annoying problems.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
