[pchelpers] Problem Getting Thunderbird To Open Next Mail In List/ And Open To Inbox

Hello All,
I have a problem with Thunderbird that I haven't been able to figure out 
on my own. When I have a message open and I have finished reading it, I 
am no longer able to click the delete button and have it disappear and 
the next message in line open. What happens is the open message stays on 
the screen, the open message is deleted from the list behind what I see 
on the screen, but to get rid of the open message on the screen I have 
to click the red "x" at the top right corner, then go back to the list 
and manually open the next message.


The second and apparently unrelated problem I am having with Thunderbird 
is that, when I open the program, it opens to "Local Folders" instead of 
to my "Inbox" like it used to. I cannot find where I can tell it to open 
to my "Inbox".

If anyone can help, please do, and thank you in advance.
