Hi Ed.  Actually I understood your point completely.  Even filling in data
would be considered an 'edit' to a pdf form.  You are adding data that was
not there.

And like I said, perhaps some <like the bookmark> allow you to fill in the
blanks on a pdf file.  If they want you to do that online they would have to
make that part of their pdf file.  The creator of the file would allow those
'blank spaces' to be 'edited' by you entering in your data.

(And regarding software that lets you edit pdf files, I have some software
that does that.  But it lets me edit pdf files or Word files that I can make
into a pdf file that "I" created and decided to make a pdf file.  The
software <to my knowledge> does not let me edit of change other pdf files.)
