[pchelpers] Re: PDF

Sorry Ed. That's why they make pdf files. So other people can't edit them.
At least that's what I've been told.

It can be a real pain for those wanting to edit.
"IF" you know the person that created the file, you can ask them to send it
to you so that you can edit it. But as far as I know, only that person has
permissions to edit it.

Sometimes ones can put into the file a section you can edit. For example, I
know a brother that made a lovely bookmark for the Draw Close book. It is a
pdf file. But, you can type in your name so that when you print it out you
have a personalized bookmark. That was the only thing on the pdf file you
can change though. Here is that sample:

Hellloooooo...
Am I the only one stranded at home today?
I have a question one of you office types might know the answer to.
I have a pdf document that is not editable & I want to make it so. I want to
fill it out via my puter as opposed to printing it & filling it out by hand
(lousy handwriting)

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
