[pchelpers] Re: PCTV HD Mini Stick

Scott,  here are the notebook specifications.  Do you  think it is suitable for
the PCTV HD Mini Stick?  While not in the notebook System it is on the
specification sheet that came with the notebook.  Do not forget that I can
increase virtual memory.

Toshiba L2
Operating System:  Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit version

Processor and Chipset
Intel Pentium dual-core processor T2310
1.46 GHZ, 2MB L2, 533MHZ  FSB
Mobile Intel GL960 Express Chipset

Memory
1024 MB PC5300  DDR2 SDRAM Maximum capacity 2048MB (both memory slots may be
occupied)

Hard Disk Drive
120 GB  (5400RPM)  Serial ATA hard disk drive

Most store bought PCs do not contain maximum memory unless the buyer wants it
put in.  That means a stay at the repair department.  1 GB works fine for most
purposes.  A new game program did not work but it was inexpensive and I do not
care.

Hi Gerald,

Most laptop nowadays have a cover on the bottom specifically for the
memory, so it's not terribly difficult.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
