The laptop has a good processor but for Windows Vista Home Premium  does not 
have the recommended RAM.  the problem with inserting more RAM is unscrewing 
the cover and replacing it.   I can look this up and get back to you if this is

Gerald, you should know that USB processing is more CPU-intensive than
PCI processing; if your computer is borderline as far as the specs are
concerned, it may not handle the data stream very well.
