[pchelpers] Re: PC-HELPERS list re-construction

Hi Folks: I have several heavy duty surge protectors-- it came with a
25,000 insurance policy-- but I don't pay too much to things like that --its
your home owner's insurance policy and what it will cover. You need insurance
these days especially with the freak accidents-- either by man or natural
causes. Look at your insurance policy- Make sure you are covered. If its a
broad policy you better look into that and change it. That means they don't
have to pay the full value if they don't want to. We have been hit by
lightning twice -- blew my modem, and my power supply- sound card, graphics
card too,and a few appliances in our home I don't understand why it didn't
affect my motherboard and CPU chip . They paid I had no problems. The way
some insurance policies read you could be paying for something you think you
are insured and you are not. Lightning, flooding etc. Some are worded very
slyly. So be careful if you don't understand your insurance policy have
someone explain it to you. Sometime insurance agents will omit certain
things-- just to sell you a policy--so its better to be insurance-wise read
all the technical stuff in your insurance policy thoroughly and because of
the times we live in. My husband says you nearly have to be a Philadelphia
lawyer to understand the way these policies are worded hehehehe!!!--but
very true-- Jackie
