And how much did the printer cost?  If it's not under warranty, you
might be better off getting something new.

Is it a multifunction?  Do any of the other features work?

Try deleting, restarting, and reinstalling the driver, if you haven't
already.

XP? Do a system restore to Saturday, since you said that it was
working then.  If that fails or there's no restore point available,
you might try uninstalling SP2 from Control Panel.

If you know someone else with a computer, see if you can hook the
printer up to it to see if it'll work there.  This'll give you a more
definite indication of whether it's a print3er problem or computer
problem.
