[pchelpers] Re: PC not able to communicate with printer

Try disconnecting the cable from the printer and wait a few seconds and then
plug it back in. Sometimes it just needs that to be able to rescramble its
"brain" and get things put back right.
I know it sounds strange, but it often has worked, is easy enough to start
with, and when it works is easy to remember.

Subject: [pchelpers] PC not able to communicate with printer

Computer year old Win XP. SP2 installed Friday last. Printer worked
Saturday and Sunday. Message today "Unable to communicate with the device.
Please start "MPService" from Services applet in the Control Panel. The
please right-click on the StatusMonitor to Reconnect and try again."
There is no "Services" applet in Control Panel.

Any ideas?

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
