I don't have cable, but I do have some questions n this:
1) Can you record plain TV programmes via the card?
2) Does it record only what is on screen, or can it deduce what the box
produces?
3) Dynalink make a PC to TV converter box (I have a PT-100 model) to
capture whatever is on screen and output as composite video. I play on
one PC and can pick up images on the other or record to tape. It
bypasses all the coding. Could you use something like that?
