On modern computers and laptops I understand that the operating system is
hidden in a small partition on the hardrive. I don't like this method and
prefer to have the operating system on a cd, is there any way that I can get
into this partition to copy the operating system to a cd?
My reason for doing so is if my hardrive goes down I may lose my operating
system so I would like to back it up to cd.
Thanks
Sacha

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
