Don't try to repair programs. The only possible solution is to uninstall
version 1.5 and to install 2.0.3.

We have had exactly kind of discussion before about other programs
several times; it makes absolutely no sense to move programs and
especially parts of programs around, and this nonsense becomes even
crazier when talking about different versions of a program. If a program
doesn't work, the only solution is to uninstall and to reinstall it.
Even geeks don't try to repair programs by surgery!!! Please don't make
me repeat this basic, simple fact of computer maintenance again.

Yes, OpenOffice 2.0.3 is also for ME as clicking on system requirements
on the download page shows:
http://www.openoffice.org/dev_docs/source/sys_reqs_20.html

You are not a computer expert, so i'm very confused to hear that you
claim to know that files are missing because i'm sure you don't know
what files should be in that folder. Are you saying this folder looks
more empty than it should in your opinion?

Are you aware of the fact that the installer file (the exe file you
download) is not the actual program? Are you also aware that it first
unpacks itself into a folder (as explained in the first installation
screen)? Are you aware that you should not let this unpack into your
Program Files folder? It unpacks by default into a new folder on the
desktop, which is a good place because then you won't forget to delete
this unnecessary folder as well as the original exe file once the
installation has worked. The unpacked contents are the actual
installation files, as the suggested default name of the folder says.
The actual installation then also starts running automatically, but if
it doesn't work or you want to reinstall it for some other reason, do
*not* rerun the original exe file. That would create a new huge
installation files folder and waste more disk space.

If you need to reinstall, doubleclick on setup.exe in the folder that is
unpacked by default on the desktop and that is by default called
"OpenOffice.org 2.0 Installation Files". Once again, if the program
works after installation, delete that unnecessary folder!

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
