Hi Jackie,

Your granddaughter may have set the document to Com 10 size, which
would cause the problems that you're having. If the document is still
in the queue, delete it if you can, and that should take care of it.
Deleting a document from the queue can be annoyingly difficult
sometimes. What I usually end up doing is opening Services, stopping
and starting the Print Spooler service, deleting the document again,
then stopping and starting the service again.
If still unable to delete the document, stop the service, then delete
the contents of "c:\windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS", then restart the
service; note that this will delete any spooled print jobs for ALL
printers.
If you are still unable to print regular documents after that, try
restarting both the computer and printer. If necessary, use the
buttons on the printer to change the paper type to Letter or whatever
it is that you normally use. If the printer thinks that it has Com 10
paper and your document is wanting Letter, then the printer will wait
for you to put the right type of paper in and then tell it what type
you've fed it.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
