I dumped my Office 2000 for the MsOffice Alternative.
It is a free program that does everything Office does.
You might check it out before dropping the big bucks
  for Office XP

I hope I made the link small enough so that it won't wrap.

    Hi Guys

I am thinking of installing Office XP but I have a question. Can documents
produced in Office XP be opened in Windows 2000? In other words can my new
XP documents that I send to other people running Office 2000 - or any other
    earlier versions - be opened?

    Thanks in anticipation

    Eric

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
