No, I mean I'd have expected someone in the field to have done it
without thinking much about it.

I modify some of my programs in the some way; the only reason I didn't
add a feature earlier is because I didn't need it and/or didn't have
time or interest to work on it.

Think about how much data a cable company is able to shove through a
coax. I'd like to know what data bandwidth they're able to get. They're
able to transmit not only dozens of TV channels, but also internet for
dozens of homes.
