Hi Billy

Just a thought. The "egg timer" runs when a program is doing something.
Maybe OE is trying to save something and can't find it! Zip up data and
can't find it! It is obviously trying to do something it can't. Either
it
can not find what to do or what to do it with and therefore locks up.

Go to <tools> <options> and read them all....see if any of them is not
like
you want. Maybe it is trying to "compress" files and you have deleted
them
and it can't do it?

just a few thoughts Billy

It only happens now and again, this is what is confusing, then after
some time it rights it's self????
