All you need for internet is 10-baseT, don't need the newer 100-baseT,
so may be able to find someone who is upgrading and still has their
old card.

Network cards can be had for noticeably less than US$20 if you have a
computer warehouse business nearby.

Bob, I assume that you're talking about prices for pre-made cables?
