Hi Ray,
As I recall, there is at least one online service that is able to
automatically identify pictures. So, I think CAPTCHA in general is
going to be a short-lived phenomenon.
Also, when you're paying people a few cents per hours in a third-workd
country to look at CAPTCHAs and type in the response, it is still
fairly cheap.
