Major scam continues to target hapless users
Rosalie Marshall, vnunet.com 05 Jan 2009
A large number of Twitter users have been temporarily locked out of
their accounts as a phishing scam continues to attack the social
messaging site.
Users are being sent a direct message alerting them to a 'funny blog'.
When they click on the link they are asked to provide their username and
password, which is then used by the phishing site to send out direct
messages on their behalf, tricking their followers.
