[pchelpers] News:Apple launches new Mac recycling program

Wednesday, May 31 2006 @ 06:31 AM PDT
VNUNet reports that Apple has launched a computer recycling program
which offers US customers an environmentally friendly way of disposing
of their old computer when they buy a new Mac. "The firm said that its
online and shop-based retail outlets will offer customers the option of
recycling their unwanted PCs, regardless of the manufacturer. If a
customer chooses to participate in the program, Apple will send an email
with instructions and a label for free shipping and recycling. Customers
simply package their old equipment and attach the label provided."
