[pchelpers] Re: New page-recycling old PC's, now 486 problem

The last problem was when I turned on the machine, the hard drive just made a
clicking sound and would not boot up.

Tired and frustrated I switched out the hard drive, partitioned, formatted and
installed the o/s. Now it is up and running. No sure maybe the hard drive
suddenly when bad.

Are you able to edit the file in notepad? Just placing the right driver
file in the C:\ directory would ensure one of these commands would find
it. Can you ask some more questions so we can provide the right
direction?
