The CD-ROM is a DELTA Mod. OIP-CD5200A or OIP-CD5200A/G  Rev:3.20

May be there is hope after all.

Oh, that's a different story. It's not really failing to boot up per se,
but the line that loads the CD ROM driver in the CONFIG.SYS file is not
the right one for the drive used, or contains an error, or the driver
file is not there (in good order).

Have you got any idea what kind of CD-ROM drive is installed in it? Look
for brands on the front, or open the top and look inside. We might be
able to find a driver for it.
