I do not know. I have a DEFAULT setup using Thunderbird and GMAIL. 
Messages are not automatically deleted from GMAIL when I receive them to 
Thunderbird. Checked  my listing of messages and I receive all messages 
from PCHELPERS except the no reflected ones I have written.

Maybe it is a function of GMAIL. Messaging on another list works exactly 
the same way.
