The answer to that may vary depending on operating system. In Windows 98
(which is what I have);
Go to the control panel
Find the Network icon & double click it
Click the Identification tab and look under Workgroup
Type in the desired work group name and click OK.
Note: On some systems, windows may be in the habit of changing the name
back to MSHOME. Keep an eye out for this annoying habit to keep on top
of the thing.
