[pchelpers] Nero Burning Problem

Hello all I keep having a problem with burning files in a bundled version of
Nero 5. When I try to burn ANY FILE whatever the size it stops at either
just over half way or exactly half way in the burn process. It halts
completely (the burn process) but the disk keeps spinning intermittently. I
then get the following error:

SCSI / ATAPI COMMAND TIMEOUT ERROR
INVALID WRITE STATE
COULD NOT PERFORM END TRACK
BURN PROCESS FAILED AT 48X

This happens on brand new cds and also on multisession cds. I have updated
nero as well to the latest version.

Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem?
