BlankI have gone to several tutorials for burning a DVD originating from =
a camcorder
tape. Most of them reference some specific software [I am not ready=20
to make a selection], hardware, or a video card that I do not have. My =
video card is
a DDR NVIDIA GeForce4MX. My OS is XP with lots of hard disk and WinFast =
TV2000
Express Deluxe.
I have copied a two hour camcorder tape onto my hard disk as a
MPEG-1 file in 320X240, 2,000kbs, 29,970fps as displayed when moving
a pointer over an icon. I can play this from my hard disk in Windows
Media Player, so far, so good. I have DVD Shrink, DVDX Copy, Roxio =
CD
Creator, Ulead Video Studio 7, Windows Movie Maker, most of which is =
some
junior version that came with the computer or the Winfast TV card, DVDX =
copy,
etc. When I try some of them they are looking for some proprietary =
format, or
I am just missing the thrust of where they are trying to take me..
I think I can burn a DVD with what I have as an exact copy of this 5.5 =
gigabyte file, but I would
like to burn it with some simple editing that cuts out segments of the =
file where the camcorder
was pointing to the floor, etc. I have some blank DVD-RW disks for =
experimentation.
Can someone just point me in the direction of a site that specializes in =
helping
the new kid on the block in helping me burn the DVD? Or, maybe one of =
the pieces
of junior software that I have will do this, but- - - -if so- - - - =
which piece?

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
