Here's a site that gives you all the info you need to know what a NAT can and
cannot do and how to configure it. All done very clearly and simply. After all
this is a kind of tutorial for students preparing for their certs...Microsoft,
Cisco etc..

'driving' I'm interested in. How do you use the router? What do you do to
designate which programs get access when. I don't need to know the technical
reasons it works. I wouldn't know what you were talking about anyway. :-) Do
you push a button, or type something on your keyboard, or set some switch to
grant different access requests/attempts?
