[pchelpers] Mozilla Thunderbird & Windows XP Pro Error Reporting

Greetings fellow PC Helpers!

I'm writing with hopes that somebody has experienced the same, or similar,
problem I'm having presently with Mozilla Thunderbird 1.0 and Windows XP Pro.

The problem is that, 99 times out of a hundred, when I shut down
Thunderbird, up pops Windows XP error reporting dialog box stating that
there was an error during the shutdown process for the application
(Thunderbird.exe). It doesn't tell me what the problem is, but proceeds to
send the message, presumably to Microsoft. Like I said, 99 times out of
100, this occurs.

Is there a way to determine exactly what the error is? Are these errors
logged somewhere on my system where I might be able to view the log file?
Has anybody else experienced this (or similar) problem with Thunderbird?

Lastly... I'm new to using Windows XP, and I'm wondering if there's a way to
turn off error reporting.

Any assistance that can be provided would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
