It sounds like a spammer is using your email address as a return address on
SPAM that they are sending out. As a result the ones that are sent to
erroneous addresses are gong to bounce back to your email box.  Personally I
have only one email address that I normally give out to merchants or others
that require registration and that is the address where all the spam shows
up.  I access that account through WEBMAIL and mark for deletion all the
mail that I recognize as junk mail. After that I can pull in with an email
program all the ones that are left. Sometimes after seeing the headers in
Webmail I have to select all and delete them in one click.  Changing your
email address will stop the spam for a period of time but if you give out
the new address to merchants or use it to register on various sites it will
eventually start all over again.  Giving the new address only to trusted
sites will minimize the exposure.
