I'm making major changes to my system to allow other machines to share
my modem for internet access. Already installed modem sharing for Win
98SE on one machine with a 56k internal modem. The modem works locally,
and TCP/IP has been bound to the network card to allow access.
Instructions with the client configuration disk created for the system
have been carried out. Shared features appear in Network Setup on other
PCs for a while, but now don't show up.
After all that, I get
Shared modem cannot be seen
The host ethernet card stopped browsing the network
The local host modem dials in but IE5 can't raise any sites.
Any suggestions from those who have attempted this before?

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
