Sounds like Microsoft is making another big mistake like it did when its
threat to drop support for Windows 98 made many companies discover that
their old computers ran better and safer with Linux than their new ones
do with XP. As its says at that link:

However, this Microsoft effort to push adoption of Sender ID is likely
to fail, certainly with such a short deadline, said Jonathan Penn, an
analyst at Forrester Research. "Hotmail is in no position to dictate
that organizations adopt Sender ID," he said.

Adopting Sender ID or any other technology requires time and money, Penn
said. "Company budgets are on a yearly cycle, and most of them have no
money for such a project this year," he said.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
