| When you first installed Office 2000, did you choose
| the default or customize? You might have chosen not to
| install Word but to run from CD. You have that choice
| as well as "Install on First Use" etc. Why not run
| Office 2000 Setup again and this time do a custom
| install and expand all the folders to select what you
| want to install on your hard disk.
