Microsoft website program indicates that my PC is compatible for Vista Basic.
Vista Basic upgrade retails for $99 and the full version twice as much. Does
OEM Windows XP Home qualify for an upgrade?
I do have problems since the Hauppage PC tuner is incompatible with Vista
with its present software. There are other issues too. If the issues can be
resolved does an upgrade to Vista Basic make sense? My Dell desktop was only
purchased about three months ago and has some outstanding features and uses
the latest technology. I wonder what the consumer is getting for Vista Basic.
I can review the Microsoft site, I know. But that is just propaganda. What
does the helpers think? - Gerald

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
