Hi Jackie,
My experience with the mini FM tuner that comes with the Archos
MP3 Player is not good. This year I finally took a regular Boom Box
along with a larger antenna and got almost perfect copy at the District
Convention in Reading PA where the program was transmitted on the FM
Band so that it could be picked up. At the Convention in Hamilton Ont
however they do transmit FM 'BUT NOT' on the FM Band. They have FM
headsets only and I am not sure how you could pick up the audio from
them since I doubt they have a socket you can use. MP3 Recording of the
entire program at Reading PA fits on a 700 MB CD in MP3 format. Check
with the Convention overseer, you might be able to talk to the sound
overseer and see what is possible for audio recording. The Archos picks
up the audio transmission and builds MP3 files. I have never had an IPOD
but I understand they do not use MP3 as a recording format.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
