[pchelpers] Re: Lost Internet Connection

A follow-up regarding my inability to connect to the Internet:

1) I reverted back to an older networking driver instead of the current
version.

2) I went into the router and noticed, under the DHCP settings, that my
computer's IP address had been automatically set to dynamic. I changed
the current config so that my XP computer read static instead of
dynamic, so now it's permanently affixed an address.

Since then, I haven't had a problem connecting to the Internet. Not
sure if the above two had anything to do with it but I'm not
complaining. Let's hope I stay connected from now on!

Susan

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
