Billy, have you tried using Firefox? It has a better built-in popup 
blocker than IE (i haven't seen a single popup for months), a built-in 
Google search box, and you can even install the whole Google toolbar in 
FF if there are other of its functions you'd like.


Ek, I don't have SP2, I've downloaded and installed it twice and my PC goes 
wrong each time, it seems from what different ones have written on other groups 
or privately, some are fortunate in this regard, having no problems, and others 
aren't and get them.  Security wise, I am behind a NAT and have AVG, but am 
less than happy with the new version.
 as to firefox, i'm very wary of trying this due to all the emails i've seen 
regarding problems. I would be happy if anyone in the UK has it and using NTL 
as an ISP.
