Hi Scott I read your post with interest especially the one on pcmag. Im not
sure if I have already mentioned this but someone pointed me in the
direction of stuff built by Steve Gibson namely Un Plug and Pray (UPnP)
DCOMBobulator for DCOM vulnerabilities, Leaktest for testing Firewalls,
Shoot the Messenger, XP Dite, Wizmo, etc the list is endless. Anyone who
needs them can find the programs here:

I'm sure that some of you are happy with IE, and don't want to mess
with Opera or Firefox or whatever, for some reason or other. I haven't
looked closely at this product yet, but what I've read about it looks
interesting; it claims to be able to block a lot of the worms and so
forth that MS had to issue patches for.
