[pchelpers] Re: Linux riskier than Windows? - Linz

While such is the case EG, Linux has a long road to hoe before it
catches Microsoft. While I am using a Linux distro to do this mail
(Ubuntu), most Windows users (especially our womenfolk) are not
impressed by Linux (give or take a few who have accepted it.)
Not everything comes installed. Installing what you want isn't just a
matter of 'click' and your away - for security reasons.

I could add a lot more, but this forum is a PC (esentially Windows one)
and is best left for that. Anyone who wants to learn about a
more-secure operating system than virus-inviting Windows is free to
email me direct. I am a novice, and still have a Windows PC operating,
because so far, I haven't managed to get my own produced software to run
on Linux - but I'll keep trying.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
