One of my friends pointed to Freespire as a way to go to beat the high 
cost of Microsoft.

My question is; do any of you have experience with this OS?  For 
someone who uses the computer and the internet mostly for comunication 
and some business transactions, is this a good choice?  Or are there 
hidden dangers we should be aware of?
